The family and friends of Randy Collins are uniting to raise money for medical expenses and other expenses during this difficult time.

On Friday afternoon my boyfriend had just got home from school. He was going to school to be a truck driver, and was so excited that he had just passed and got his CDL license. He was home for about an hour and said that he was feeling funny so I told him to go sit down. He was holding his head and saying that something was wrong. I kept asking him if he was ok and he couldn't speak to me. He was trying but the words just wouldn't come out. So immediately I had him get in the car to go to the hospital, thinking he was having a stroke. When we arrived at the ER they took him right back thinking the same thing. They did a catscan and thats when they discovered an AVM(Arteriovenous Malformation) on the left side of his brain. An AVM is a abnormal connection between the arteries and veins. This is something that he was born with and if he doesn't do anything about it at some point in his life it will start to bleed. Since Randy is only 28 years old brain surgery is not an option because of it's size and location. It is about 1.5 inches by 1.5 inches and it is right near the motor skills part of the brain. The best surgeons around got together and decided the best treatment for him would be to go in through his groin and glue some of the main arteries that are feeding this mass followed by radiation. Randy and I have two small children, Randy III, who is 5 and Rylan who is 4. Any donations would be greatly appreciated during this difficult time to help with medical expenses and any other expenses. Thank you for your support. For more information on AVM's go to
