Hi! I'm Debbie, Edgar's wife. I need your help to raise money to cover his stage 4 head/neck cancer treatment. Thanks for your support!

My husband's name is Edgar Vizcarrondo and he is from Puerto Rico. We live in Valdosta, Georgia and together share a beautiful family with my 3 children here, his 3 grown children and 3 precious grandchildren living in Puerto Rico. He came to Georgia in 2005 to work with a utility power company. After their decision to move his department operations from Valdosta, GA to Atlanta, he left the company and started his own home repair business in November 2006. Due to the 2008/2009 crash in the housing market, he took a part time job at a local church to help sustain himself while trying to keep his business afloat. He began working for Sears in the Fall of 2009 but hasn't been able to work now since September 2010. He had to finally file for bankruptcy in 2010 due to the debts accumulated when his home repair business was not bringing in a steady flow of customers or income.

In the Spring of 2009, we began attending Heritage Church in Moultrie, GA with my family. He reaffirmed Christ as his Savior and got baptized in June 2009, but two weeks later was diagnosed with stage 4 squamous cell head/neck cancer. We found it in the lymph nodes but apparently it started in his tongue and/or throat.

He has tried what natural supplements and treatments he could, which helped to slow down the cancer's progress, but it has progressed anyway and is now where he can't breathe, speak or hear as well any more. We know that if he is to live, he must seek some more aggressive form of treatment. He has chosen Century Wellness Center in Reno, Nevada because they have a more holistic approach to their treatment that won't be destructive to his body while trying to kill the cancer.

It is our desire to fight this cancer and that he be healthy once again to be able to help support himself and our family. Our other family members and I sincerely appreciate your financial support as the vast majority of his medical expenses are not paid by my health insurance company. We pray for many more years to serve God and people with our lives. We desire to watch our children and grandchildren grow up and be an active part of their lives. We know we cannot do this alone. Thank you for supporting us. ¡Muchísimas gracias! ¡Qué Dios les bendiga a todos! Thank you very much and May God bless you all!
