Many seizure survivors and their families are in need of a seizure assist service canine yet the expense of living with seizures has left them unable to afford a seizure assist service canine without your support. Seizure assist service canines help seizure survivors and families regain independence while living with seizure disorders. Sending the canines into service requires they be safely transported, trained, and kept in a healthy and safe environment. Your dollars given today will two place seizure service canines two with individuals/families in need. Once the canines are placed with a seizure survivor/ family, the canine will be able to perform such tasks as alerting family members to seizure activity, rolling seizure survivor onto his/her side, fetching emergency medications and fluids, and even placing emergency calls by pressing selected buttons on a household phone or piece of emergency jewelry.
