My mother, Margo, is my very best friend. Not only has she impacted my life, but she's impacted the lives of so many other young adults. For 22 years, she owned Only A Stage Children's Theatre where she was passionate about creating a place that children could go, be themselves, feel safe, and embrace the performing arts. Although the business did not provide her with the financial backing needed to support herself, she continued to do what she loved. She's changed the lives of so many of her former students, some who have even pursued professional acting careers as a result of her work. The last couple years have been an uphill battle that she's continually fought. She manages to always stay positive, love unconditionally, and continue to do whatever she can do to help others. As her only daughter, her and I have created a bond that is undeniably the most important relationship I have in my life. She stood by me through the hardest years of my life, doing whatever she needed to do to provide for me, and be there as my best friend. She never once asked for anything in return. As I've watched her struggle over the years with her health, I've promised myself one thing - I will do whatever I can to let her know that she's appreciated for all that she's done for me. This is her time. She needs my help. She needs your help. This is our time to come together as people whose lives have been forever touched because of her. Together, we can stay positive, strong and hopeful for a fast recovery. She takes on another one of life's challenges as her battle with stage 4 cancer begins very shortly. For once, let's give back to the woman that gave so much.
Your donations will go towards her medical expenses that won't be covered by insurance. Her one wish is to see the ocean again, and I'd like to make that possible, too.
Thank you for taking the time to read this. Please keep her in your daily thoughts and prayers and know that she's a fighter. She's ready to take this on full force, and we need to all be there in spirit.
