Margie has had a rough time in life. The funds will go towards all her medical bills and any other bills accumulated.

Margie Niesen’s Health History.

Age 13 was hit in the ear with a snow ball that had a rock in and ruptured her ear drum.

Age 15 had a kidney infection that had her hospitalized for a week, and home for 2 weeks recuperating.

Age 16 was in a car accident that rolled the car down a 150 foot embankment and ended with a concussion after hitting her head on the back window.

Age 23 was in a snowmobile accident and crushed her left leg and was laid up for 6 weeks.

Age 24 had hemorrhaged female problems and had partial hysterectomy.

Doing well until she turned 55. Then the worse started at age 55 she developed Meniere's disease (The inner ear has fluid-filled tubes called semicircular canals, or labyrinths. The canals, along with a nerve in your skull, help interpret your body's position and maintain your balance). She has had 19 ear surgeries from 2000-2011 to try to help try save her hearing and has had 2 hearing aids and will eventually go deaf.
She also has Fibromyalgia and Osteoarthritis and is taking lots of Vitamins and Pain Pills. Because of this Margie has also been unable to work since then and is on disability. (Fibromyalgia is the most common arthritis-related illness after osteoarthritis. Still, it is often misdiagnosed and misunderstood. Its characteristics include widespread muscle and joint pain and fatigue as well as other symptoms. Fibromyalgia can lead to depression and social isolation).

She had two knee replacements on the same knee because the first one failed and ended up having MRSA (MRSA, or methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus, is a bacterium that can cause serious infections. It is resistant to numerous antibiotics of the beta-lactam family, including methicillin and penicillin.) Margie will always have MRSA and is a life carrier.

She has had both shoulders operated on for rotor cuffs and torn ligaments.

Bladder surgery for incontinence, which they put in a sling.

At age 66 she was diagnosed with Ovarian cancer (a mass size of grapefruit and cancer in left ovaries) they did a complete hysterectomy and removed both ovaries, both tubes and some lymphoid around the cancer.
She has been going to chemo and will have more tests the end of March and the beginning of April will find out her final results if the cancer is gone. She has had a very hard time with the chemo and has very sick.

She has not given up hope on all of this and she holds her head high.
