When I was diagnosed with a second cancer, Tony helped me and my family. Now it's my turn as Tony faces a relapse of his own cancer...Ashley

Tony Colton is not only my friend, but one of the bravest kids you will ever meet. In  July of 2011, at the age of 11, Tony was diagnosed and treated for Clear Cell Sarcoma of the kidney, a very rare and life threatening cancer. Tony and I went through treatment together. When I was rediagnosed in September with a new cancer, Tony and his family stepped up to the plate and helped to raise a considerable amount of money to help with my treatment. Just this week he found out that his cancer has returned and is facing at least ten, week long trips, to the National Institute of Health (NIH) in Bethesda, MD over the next several months for new immunotherapy treatments. These trips will cost thousands of dollars in airfare, transportation, lodging, food and medical expenses. Families cannot absorb these kinds of dollar figures on their own and they need our help. This is a favor I wish I never had to pay back. But I do, because Tony is special, important, and a remarkable young man who has fought bravely against his cancer. Tony will be triumphant once again! Please consider making a donation through this page, no matter how small or large. If you would like to help them more immediately, please contact me and I will give you alternative means of getting money to the family quickly. Because the need is urgent and immediate, this fund raiser page will only run for a short time. We will then follow with a second page for the long term needs this family faces.
