Lynn's Little Farmers are in action! We have an ALS walk team, where you can help raise funds for research, and also a way to donate directly to Lynn to help with medical bills. Please give what you all helps!

My friend Lynn has ALS … Lou Gehrig’s Disease … a fatal disease that is gradually weakening and hardening and will eventually destroy every muscle in her body, leaving her unable to walk, to move her hands and arms, to talk, to laugh, to eat, to breathe, to live. It is truly ravaging and relentless. She doesn’t know how long it will take, only that it will happen and we are all helpless to stop it. Already her legs are extremely weak and she must use a walker and often a wheelchair. Her hands are beginning to weaken.

As the disease progresses, there will be many adaptations that can help Lynn maintain her independence longer, and also a better quality of life for as long as possible. Already the walker, wheelchair, shower bench, and adaptations for the car are necessary items, and the bills are adding up. If you can give amount is too would help and know that it will be appreciated more than you could ever know. You can donate through this site, or you can mail a check made out to "Lynn's Little Farmers"  to: Natalie Cumpson, 242 Little Farms Ave, Hampton, Virginia 23661.

We have also formed a walk team, if you would rather make a donation to the ALS society. Researchers work every day to find a cure for this horrible disease, and they need all the support we can give them. The site is below, and we'd love to have you donate, or become a Farmer and walk with us!

We also have a Facebook page, if you'd like to become a "Friend," or a "Fan," or whatever they're calling it these days. Just search "Lynn's Little Farmers" and join us!

I would also like to thank everyone for the thoughts, prayers, and support. This is a truly horrible thing for anyone to have to go through, but the love that Lynn's Village has given has been amazing, and I thank all of you for your love and friendship.
