Caleb is not only my 6 year old nephew, but my friend as well. He suffers from Developmental Delay, Sensory Processing Disorder and Autism.

April 24, 2005 is the day that changed my life FOREVER. With only me and the hospital staff standing by her side, my sister delivered a beautiful baby boy. Tears of joy filled the room as I did the honor of cutting the umbilical cord.

Within a matter of seconds, my tears of joy, became tears of worry. My precious nephew was diagnosed with the medical condition Esophageal Atresia. After countless surgeries and a surgically placed G-Tube, we knew Caleb was on his way to recovery.

At 2 months old, we had a major setback; Caleb was diagnosed as having Developmental Delay Disorder, Sensory Processing Disorder and also as being Autistic. We never knew how these conditions would affect him, until recently....

Caleb is now deaf and blind. On February 27, Caleb is set to undergo surgery to correct his vision. by having a cornea transplant, starting with his right eye, and also to see what can be done to repair his hearing.

Regular household finances coupled with the growing medical bills are causing a struggle on the entire family. We are asking for those who can to make a donation please consider doing so to help our family get through this time and continue to focus on getting Caleb better.
