The family and friends of Jessica Haynie are uniting to raise money to help with her battle against cancer. Please show your support!

Hello, my name is Jessica Haynie (Creach).

Thank you very much for visiting my page.

And of course, thank you to my family and friends who have decided to get together and help me and my own family along during this time of challenges, struggles and the unknown. I may forget to say it sometimes, but I love you and thank you so much!

For those of you who don’t know my situation, I am 24 years old, and in March of this year I was on my way to sign the final paper work to adopt our beautiful daughter (Madisyn, 6), with my husband Lawarence and our new bundle of joy, Logyn our son.

That’s when we got the news and our lives changed.

I was diagnosed with a very rare form of cancer, Aveolar Rabdomyosarcoma.

Now only about 300 of all reported cancer cases each year are of this type of cancer. Sarcomas are typically a “Childs Cancer,” and of the 51 different kinds, this just happened to be both, the most rare and (lucky me) most aggressive.

And since I am no longer a child, treating this type of cancer presents its own challenges.

Life certainly has its ups and downs…

Thank goodness St. Josephs’ Hospital for Children had someone on staff who knew the regiment (in children) and could work with the doctor’s at University and try and establish some sort of game plan to not only relieve some pain, but try and control the aggressive attacks on my body, nervous system and bones.

I can’t exactly say everything they tried has worked. But that’s what to be expected during experimental treatments.

I have spent numerous weeks in and out of the hospital, going through Chemo, radiation, MRI’s…and like most cancer patients, found myself back in the hospital for pneumonia, severe radiation burns, allergic reactions to medicines…I should have frequent bed status miles there by now.

But they are making head way and less time is being spent tucked under hospital covers and surrounded by beeping machines, oxygen tubes and gauges to measure my, well…bathroom visits. Even sometimes I impress myself.

This means fewer visits for Lawarence, Madisyn, Logyn and my family.

I will beat this!

But, my family and friends realized we can’t do this alone. I need help. Any help.

As a mother, I found out what is more painful than cancer.

Not being able to hug, hold or care for your children.
And that is why this page is here. It hurts to ask, but my kids need me to ask.

And, please, if you can’t help, pass this on to someone who may.

Thank you and God Bless. And keep checking back, I will beat this!

Some of the folks that read this would like to send something, letters or donations, to an address.... You can send it to Jessica's parents at..

God Bless again. The family and ecspecially Her family, thank you.
