Meet 6-yr-old Zach. Please read this story, then share this on facebook. Sharing is caring!

Imagine a disease that combines the worst symptoms of muscular dystrophy, cerebral palsy, cystic fibrosis, immune deficiencies, and cancer. A-T is this disease.

Children with A-T are usually confined to wheelchairs by age 10. Total loss of muscle control means that legs can't walk, eyes can't read, mouths can't eat. There is no cure, and most pass away in their teens, usually due not to the muscle loss itself, but to severe complications. Meanwhile, the child's mind stays intact through this pain. This is an absolutely brutal disease, a 100% fatal disease.

Zach McMillan is in every other way just like your son, or nephew, or neighbor. He goes to school (with an aid), he has a big brother he adores, and he has a wonderful, cute dog. He loves dinosaurs and Scooby-doo, and he participates in cub-scouts. He is smart, and sweet, and gentle... and he has A-T.

Zachary's mother and father are hard-working people. They each hold down a full-time job and put in overtime when they can. In order to manage child-care and weekly doctor's appointments, they have to swing shift, with mom working at night and dad in the day. But times are tough, and despite their heroic efforts, the McMillans are feeling the burden of Zach's increasing medical expenses. Raising funds to pay for Zach's extensive needs will help ease the burdens they face every day.

The McMillans are a family of faith. They regularly attend Church and do their best to raise their two boys in a loving, supportive environment. They have not asked for anyone's assistance.

So I am asking for them.

If everyone could give just $5 or $10 -- or even 25 dollars! ---or whatever means you can spare-- we could ease some of the burdens, offset some steep doctor bills, pay for some additional physical therapy, and help make a small difference in the life of this small boy.

Please help if any way, or any amount, you can. Just imagine, $10 each could become $1000s! Can you spare $10 to help change a life?

Let's go viral- If you cannot help financially, could you help by sharing this link with your friends via facebook and email? Sharing is caring!
