I am raising money for my meshectomy. Thank you to all who take the time to read this and I appreciate all support and prayers.

In February 2011 I had an inguinal hernia mesh repair on my right side. Unknown to me at the time was the severe consequences that were to follow.

Ever since my surgery I have been in severe pain in my right testicle and in the area of my surgery. I had several steroid injections and additional nerve severing surgery in October 2011 in an attempt to relieve the pain. The surgeon at the time informed me that after my nerve surgery there was nothing else that could be done.

For a many months now I have dealt with this pain as best I could. However, recently I have been experiencing such terrible pain that I have had to quit my job as a plumber and am now seeking disability benefits. I am unable to do much of anything which includes: walking, bending over, putting on clothes, showering, etc. without intense pain in my right testicle and the area of my surgery.

I finally found a specialist, Dr. Kevin Peterson of Las Vegas, NV, that deals with hernia mesh issues. I spoke to him and he approved me for the surgery. Unfortunately, I am unable to afford the surgery as I am currently out of work and my family is also in financial trouble. I applied for a payment plan but was not approved due to my poor credit.

I really need this surgery in order to return to a normal life and get back to work. I don't like the idea of being on disability and want to be a productive member of society as much as possible. This is not to say people on disability don't need it, as I know many people that do need it. I just mean that if I can work and be productive in society it would give me a chance at a normal life again.
