Asking for donations to save the quality of life for my loving and faithful dog, Max. He tore his cruciate ligament and needs surgery ASAP.

Please help. Looking for donations to help pay for my dog’s TPLO surgery before the fundraiser closes on January 31, 2011.

I am praying to have 4000 people donate at least $1.00 (more if you wish) each to get Max the surgery he desperately needs and help save his quality of life. Please send this to everyone you know.

Max is a Chow/German Shepherd mix. He's been with me since he was nine months old, and he's now ten years old. He is all I have and I'm all he has. Three weeks ago he tore his cruciate ligament and has been in pain since. I consulted with Dr. EB Okrasinski, the surgeon, and received an estimate. I have some funds, but not enough to pay for Max's surgery that he so desperately needs.

Max has always been a healthy dog and so full of life. As a matter of fact he had his Senior Well Care check up a month ago and he passed all tests (related to his organs) with flying colors.

Animal lovers can relate when I say, Max is my baby. He keeps me company when I'm feeling lonely, and he comforts me when I'm sad, and he protects me when I'm scared. He truly is all I have, and the thought of not getting him the surgery he so desperately needs because lack of finances is devastating, and could also lead to him tearing the cruciate ligament in his other knee if surgery is not performed soon.

I am hoping to raise these funds to get Max his surgery before the fundraiser closes on January 31, 2011. At which time, GiveForward will transfer any donations received to Summit Veterianary 15 days after the close.

If you would like confirmation of Max’s surgery, feel free to contact Dr. Okrasinski’s office, Summit Veterinary in Tacoma, WA, at (253) 983-1114.

May you be blessed ten folds for your donation.

Thank you in advance for your generosity and kindness.

Carrie (and Max)
