This is the Save Angel Fund. All funds raised will go towards paying for her pelvis surgery.

Angel is a beautiful, loving 11th month old brown tabby. Our family adopted her from the local animal shelter found abandoned as a 3 month old kitten in River Falls Wisconsin. When I saw her, I knew she was the one, everything I was looking for in a kitten. She was playful, sociable, cuddly and kid friendly. We named her Angel because of her sweet kindness.

About three weeks ago, she went missing. I alerted the animal shelter and kept my eyes open, hoping she would come running home. Time went by and no show. I thought the worst. Was she dead, did she get hit by a car, did a coyote get her? After days of worry I was starting to give up hope that she would ever come home.

I had her picture as my wallpaper on my computer. Last night I was going through all the pictures I had of her and then gazed at the one I set and decided to change the pictures to something else. I then went outside for the last time that day, to see the storm in the northern sky. I heard a familiar sound hadn’t heard in a while, a tiny bell and a tiny meow. It was Angel. I was so happy she had finally come home. As I opened the door the door to let her in, I was so sad. She was not in good shape. She was skinny, and limping on both her hind legs. I knew they must be broken. I thought maybe she had gotten stuck somewhere and both legs where broken so she couldn't come home.

I brought her to the vet in the morning and I was saddened and angry about what was discovered. All of the thought that had gone through my mind about what might have happened to her were not the case. It was worse. She had been shot twice with a bee bee gun and beaten. One bullet fractured her paw, the other lodged in her knee and her pelvis broken. It has been a heat wave the past weeks of over 100 degrees and she was dehydrated and compacted. I gave my last penny to pay for the vet to give her x-rays, IV fluids, enema, and pain medication. They told me she needs surgery that would help her fractured pelvis however I do not have the money and they need it up front before they will perform the surgery. I do not want her euthanized. She has a lot of good years ahead of her, she's so young. She needs help.
