The family and friends of Connor Martin are uniting to raise money to help with his battle against brain cancer. Please show your support!

Born June 2nd, 2010 Connor is a happy 2 year old little boy. And until Saturday, March 10th was a normal little boy, walking, running, dancing, playing. He was counting in Connor's way to 11, starting at "seben, eight, niiiiiine, ten, ebbeben, one......, coloring circles, learning colors. His favorite toy is the phone and Ipad which he works better than grandma. After a week of a very sick little boy with balance issues, vomiting , and pain in his head, Thursday March 15th a Neuro Surgeon told us Connor has a Mass on his brain. Because of the surgeons experience he has identified the mass as a tumor and is most likely cancer. The tumor is on the brain stem.

Connor had brain surgery 5 days later to remove the tumor.  His surgery lasted over 8 hours and was a successful best case scenario for Connor.   Recovery also went extrememly well, so good that he amazed the Dr's and hopstial staff at Children's.   One of his Dr's came in a couple days after surgery and said " "My Gosh,I just did brain surgery on this kid, removed a tumor, and he is sitting up eating a cookie watching Elmo two days after surgery. He is amazing me."

A few days after surgery the pathology report came back and the oncology team met with Amy and Shannon.  They shared with them that Connor has a very rare form of brain cancer called ATRT that makeup only 3 in one million forms of childhood cancer.  The cancer is so rare that it comes with it's own set of challenges, however Connor was still given a very positive outcome.

Connor has now gone through months of Chemotherapy and radiation treatments.  His family has endured months at a time living at Children's hospital, they moved to Blomington Indiana for a month for Connor's protom beam treatments, and now they are going through what will be two more rounds of the most intense chemo and are once again living at Children's Hopstial here in Cincinnati.  As Connor's treatment is ongoing, so will be the financial strains associated with his medical treatments.  Even with Insurance Connor and his family have many out of pocket expenses that can really add up and put additional strain on the family. Let's continue to Support the very awesome and brave Connor Martin and family as they continue their FIGHT. Thank You in advance for your generosity and Thank You for supporting Connor!
