Trans-Malaysia Express: an 800km ride to benefit "A New Vision"
Trans-Malaysia Express: a quest to ride 800km in 2 days, to benefit "A New Vision"
Very early on 1st June 2012, a dozen long distance cyclists will set-off from the Malaysia/Thai border in Sungai Golok (near Kota Bharu) to reach Singapore in the least possible time.
The ride will be divided in two sections:
Sungai Golok to Kuantan (450 km) on Day 1
Kuantan to Singapore (350 km) on Day 2
The first riders are due to reach Singapore in the evening on Saturday 2nd June 2012 after an epic journey through Malaysia.
Beside this sporting goal, we set ourselves an even more challenging fundraising goal for the benefit of our charity, A New Vision (anewvision.org) which is doing life changing work, restoring sight to thousands of poor blind Indonesians who otherwise remain blind forever.
Cheer us and donate generously to A New Vision.
Thank you :-)
