Please help Buster return to running and chasing his ball in the yard, donate to help fund his knee surgery.

I want to start by giving some background of my baby boy Buster. My husband Dean and I wanted to add an addition to the family. A friend told us about a litter of Lab puppies that had a small amount of Blue Tick Hound in them, that were being given away. We decided to take one, we wanted black but all that was left was a chocolate. We fell in love with him the minute he was handed to us. On the drive home I told Dean it seemed as though there was something wrong with this georgeous little puppy. His stomach seemed distended much more than a normal pup. He was extremely lethargic and I grew more concerned the farther we went. When we got home we put him down to see how he would be. He could barely walk!! We got back in the truck and went immediately to the Vet. He weighed in (at 6 weeks old) and was 8 lbs! The vet took xrays and found that the poor thing had 3 lbs of food in his stomach, it was pushing on his heart and lungs. They took him to the back and induced vomiting, the poor baby vomited up the 3lbs of food and was back to normal. Everything was going well for a while, he turned out to be the best friend anyone could have. He has a beautiful soft coaty and his color starts black in places and fades to brown. He is well mannered and everyone who comes in contact with him loves him. Then he started to have some skin issues, numerous trips back to the vet for steroids and antibiotics, this would go on for almost a year every other month at the vet. While the vet is trying to figure out what was causing the skin condition Buster began limping on his left leg. It was more than just a minor injury you could tell. Back to the vet, more xrays only to find he has a torn cranial cruciate ligament, and required surgery. They needed to remove the bad ligament, shave the bone and add a metal support. It took him 3 months to recover but it was so worth it to watch him in the yard, (we have an acre that he lords over) chasing balls, squirrels, and the mailman. The doctor said that he may have to have surgery on his right leg but that would be down the road. He is the darling of the neighborhood and loved by the neighborhood children. Shortly after his recovery, the vet finally did and allergy test to diagnose his skin condition. He is allergic to pollen!! Now he needs shots to keep the allergy in check. All in all he is worth everything we have had to do as he really is a major part of our family. You can't imagine how devestated we were to see that his right leg started hurting him already, it hasn't even been 6 months since he recovered from the first surgery. Watching him limp around, having trouble sitting down or getting up is killing us. We have had to keep him in the house most of the time to keep him from running and causing more damage to the knee. He needs to have the surgery immediately and right now we don't have the funds to pay for it. We have paid almost $8000.00 already for Buster and I would spend it all again. We love him so much which is why we are doing this fund raiser. We want him to be able to run, and chase without pain. Please help to give him the surgery he so desperately needs. Thank you and God Bless.
