Please consider making a donation to the Michael P Savoca Memorial Foundation. Its mission is to increase public awareness and raise funds to help support organizations that are dedicated to finding a cure and raising awareness of Pulmonary Fibrosis.

Friends & Family,

Last fall our family lost my Uncle Mike to idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis. Idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis is scarring or thickening of the lungs without a known cause. The Michael P. Savoca Memorial Foundation was recently launched by his six children (Heather, Heidi, Tony, Tim, Tom, and Haley) to honor his memory. His wife (Willy) and his four closest friends serve as advisors.

Many of the Foundation's members are raising funds for their participation in the Long Grove Rotary Club 3K Walk and 5K Run on September 11th. Coincidentally, I registered for the Madison IRONMAN that same weekend.

On September 12th, I will put my lungs to the ultimate challenge by racing 140.6 miles in the Madison IRONMAN in honor of my Uncle Mike (2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike, and 26.2 mile run).

The Michael P. Savoca Memorial Foundation is a not-for-profit charitable entity that has been created to increase public awareness and raise funds to help support organizations that are dedicated to finding a cure and raising awareness of Pulmonary Fibrosis. The Michael P. Savoca Foundation was established to honor the memory of Michael P. Savoca and his generous spirit. The organization intends to accomplish these goals through fund raising events that will educate, inform and entertain its event participants.

Again, please consider making a donation to help support the Michael P. Savoca Memorial Foundation. Every dollar helps and is greatly appreciated.  Thank you for your support!

Sincerely,

Jeff
