Bring Bill Home! Help get Bill the medical transport team needed to bring him back to the Harrisburg area.

Hello again! Bill will be coming back to Central PA today (July 18th); he is scheduled to leave the hospital around noon and will make the 3.5 hour journey to the Helen M. Simpson Rehabilitation Hospital, a part of the Pinnacle Health network. If you'd like to send him cards, his address is:
William Arnt
c/o Helen M. Simpson Rehabilitation Hospital
4300 Londonderry Road
Harrisburg, PA 17109
If you'd like to visit, he should be ready for visitors on Thursday the 19th. Visiting hours are from noon to 8pm. To keep the room from getting too crowded, please get in touch with Melanie on her cell phone to make a plan. If you don't have her number, e-mail Gwen at gwen.hauck@gmail.com and she will put you in touch.
Again, we cannot stress how much it means to us as a family to have Bill back in the area. Your generosity has been astounding, and we are confident that having him closer to home will speed along his recovery process.

**THANK YOU to everyone who has donated so far! We're so impressed and moved that we were able to reach our goal in two days. Any additional money earned will be used to defray Melanie's costs, as she has been staying in a hotel. The money we have been able to raise together will allow Bill to return home as soon as his doctors approve travel. Again, thank you. And please continue to donate!**

As you probably know, on Sunday July 8th Bill was at a family cabin in Potter County, PA when he went out for a ride on the ATV with his nephew Vinny. Unfortunately, they were involved in a serious accident where the vehicle flipped. Vinny was not seriously injured and was able to act in a heroic way to get help to Bill, who sustained injuries to his head, ribs, shoulder and lung. Bill was flown to the Robert Packer hospital in Sayre, PA where he received wonderful care in the ICU and was able to be moved to a regular trauma room on Thursday, July 12. Since the accident, he has been improving by leaps and bounds and will soon be ready to be medically transported to a hospital closer to his friends and family at home. However, since this transport is not a medical necessity, it will not be covered by health insurance. It is very important for us to get Bill to a place where he can recover with all the love and support from everyone in the Harrisburg area. PLEASE donate what you can to help make Bill's trip home a possibility in the near future. It would mean the world to him and everyone who would like to see him but can't make the 3.5 hour trip to see him in Sayre. Thank you so much for your generosity, prayers, and kind words and thoughts.
