The family and friends of Efrain Mejia Jr. are uniting to raise money to help with his battle against stage III cancer.

On May 2012, our beloved brother and son Efrain Mejia Jr. was diagnosed with stage III testicular cancer. He had emergency surgery to remove some of the cancer, but unfortunately it spread to other parts of his body.

As for many patients with cancer this has been the most terrifying and devastating news to him and to those who love him. Efrain has already lost 3 aunts to cancer and his grandmother and mother are cancer survivors. He is in dire need of donations as he is unable to work and he has already incurred expenses from his hospital stay, ER visits and surgery. The family urgently needs everyone's help to get Efrain the medical attention he desperately needs. He was denied health coverage due to his pre-existing condition.

Your generous donations will help Efrain pay for his recent medical expenses, treatments not covered by insurance and medications.

All your generous contributions are deeply appreciated- anything you can give will help!

If you have any questions, suggestions, or just need to contact a representative for the family please call Arlene Merlano a.k.a. Cynthia (Efrain's sister) at 562-587-7658 or email Arlene at arlene@themerlanos.com

On behalf of Efrain (Jr.), we his family THANK YOU! - Love, Efrain, Sr., and Gloria Mejia, Vanessa Mejia Madrigal & Arlene Merlano

Please note: If you would like to send a donation by mail you certainly can!

Please send checks to the attention of Gloria Mejia (Efrain's Mother)

9919 W. Trumbull Rd.
Tolleson, AZ 85353

Please help this young father become a cancer survivor! And please keep him in your thoughts and prayers!

Update:

Jr. will be starting his second week of chemo on July 2nd. His body has already started reacting to the effects of chemo. We also learned that his pre-existing condition medical insurance application was denied. We are currently looking into appealing their decision. Thank you all for your continued support!
