The family and friends of Amy are uniting to raise money to help with her battle against cancer. Please show your support.

My friend and fellow nurse Amy, was diagnosed earlier this year with cancer. She lost her elbow to this horrific disease and after several surgeries which could not help heal her arm, she lost her battle to keep it.

On September 4, 2012 she underwent an amputation and hopes to be set up with a prosthetic arm in approx 6-8 weeks after the area is healed.

Amy suffered a loss last year when her husband passed away unexpectedly at 38 years old after being treated for a simple respiratory problem. It was a shock to all.

She then learned she was pregnant, and has given birth to a beautiful little girl named Arianna...she also has an 8 year old handsome son named James, who is a great help to his mom and has been since he had to become the "Man of the House"....

Amy is a nurse who has spent many of her adult years caring for others. She helps whoever is in need, and has helped me many times when I needed it the most. Of course I didn't know I was sick either....

She is funny, brightens a room with her smile and her contagious laugh....you can't help getting to know her and love her as we have...

Amy is a true friend to all, and needs the help and support of her friends and family and the help of the community around her.

As you can imagine, losing a husband shortly after buying a house, having a baby alone, this diagnosis and now the loss of her arm is truly a hardship for this family.

Any donation big or small will be greatly appreciated...after all everything adds up...

We will post updates and pictures as time goes on...

Amy is due to be released sometime at the end of this week....which is 9th or 10th of September...

Please share this page with your friends, if we can get $1 from everyone that views it, we will be helping Amy tremendously.....God Bless
