All donations received will go towards his surgery and Vet expenses.

My Pug Jack was recently diagnosed with diabetes. He is doing great with his insulin shots and his blood sugar is being kept in good control. However, the diabetes caused accelerated cataracts in his eyes and within 48 hours he became completely blind in one eye and the other has very limited peripheral vision. He needs drops in both eyes twice a day to keep inflammation down. If the inflammation gets worse it would cause glaucoma to set in. Glaucoma in a dog causes pain similar to a 24 hour a day migraine. The only treatment for that would be to have his eyes removed or have him put down. There is a surgery that can successfully remove the cataract and prevent glaucoma and also give him his eyesight back. The problem lies with the cost of surgery being $3ooo, which I cannot afford.

Jack is a very happy Pug and lives with me and "his brother", a Yorkie named Rocco. He always loved running around his fenced in yard chasing the elusive squirrel. Now, he is very confused and seems depressed as he stumbles around and often bumps into things which scares him. I want him to have the chance to live his life as he has in the past but his blindness has made that impossible. I offer a heartfelt Thank You to anyone kind enough to donate to making his life whole again and helping him to get his eyesight back.
