Please help our family recover after this tough deployment with medical expenses that were not covered by our insurance.

My husband deployed last year in February, before he deployed, actually..The night BEFORE the deployment we were married. My husband left that very next morning at 3 a.m, I didn't talk to my husband for weeks, I was enrolled in school and trying to find a job while raising our 4 year old daughter. I moved into an apartment on my own, I went to school on my own, I was essentially Mom and Dad on my own for a year. Being a military wife is difficult, even though you're married..You're essentially single most of the time in regards to the fact that your husband or partner just isn't there through the tough times. My daughter and I had just moved into our apartment when we ended up getting a hamster named Abby and a kitten named Aly. My daughter was four when she climbed up the dressed to try to get the kitten down while I was doing homework in the living room, the hamster was in a glass tank and once my daughter climbed the dresser, the tank came crashing down..Right on top of her. She was a trooper and she was strong but she did end up with 18 stitches and slight nerve damage near the areas of her scarring. When my husband came home he was without a job, as was I. My husband wanted to go back to his old job but unfortunately was unable to, we lived off of our savings for 5 months until it eventually ran out. We paid our rent with it and we bought groceries with it, it went fast. My husband is currently unable to find work due to the economy and regardless of his schooling and military background we are still struggling. We have medical bills that unfortunately were NOT covered by Tricare and they are slowly making themselves into collections. I'm not going to hide our struggle anymore with the hand that we've been dealt and I sincerely ask you to look into your heart and have compassion for the military and non-military families going through these difficult times!
