My family and I need help with all the expenses that are involved with having a chronic medical condition such as chronic pancreatitis.

My name is Sue Newton and I have 2 beautiful children still living at home with me. I have 17 yeal old Evan and 12 year old Kathryn AKA Boo. I was first diagnosed with pancreatitis in July of 2005 and it quickly became chronic pancreatitis. I am currently on medical disability and have been in the hospital ap. 130 days this year. I am currently being fed through an NJ tube which is not pretty or fun. I just traveled 8 hours to Minneapolis, MN to be evaluated for the total pancreatectomy with auto islet transplant. We were here in October but I was too sick to get my evaluation due to an infection in my blood and ended up admitted to the Fairview hospital for 10 days. I have been on quite a few medical leave since 2005 and the savings account dwindled more and more until I had to finally file bankruptcy for the 1st time last month. That one was very hard as I have always paid my bills. If my mom hadn't made our house payments the last few months, we wouldn't still have our house and the bank is taking back our truck very soon. I would like to be able to pay the bills without too much worry. Insurance does decent but the feedings for my NJ tube still cost me 350 a month and each ER visit is 250 and I visit the ER probably 25 times a year due to needing immediate pain relief. My Christmas wish is not even for better health. My wish is for the doctors to say the pancreas needs to be evicted. I will update after the evaluation! Thanks for reading:)
