The funds will be used for Mary's medical costs and related expenses not covered by insurance.

My name is Mary, I was diagnosed with Sarcoidosis in 1989. I never had any major problems with it until 2000 when I had pneumonia and had to start using oxygen. I would get short of breath and have chest pains from just walking from my bed to the bathroom. I was then diagnosed with Primary Pulmonary Hypertension (Hypertension from the lungs) and in 2003 had to be put on a medication called Flolan which is given intravenous over a 24 hr period. I have to make this medication up everyday. My doctors recommended that I have a double lung transplant in 2003. My doctors tell me my lungs are getting worse and want me to be evaluated and put on the list for a lung transplant. I have to go to hospital in Cleveland, Ohio to be evaluated and once I have the transplant I will have to stay in Cleveland for about a month before I am able to return home.

The funds will go towards the 20% that I will have to pay once the insurance has paid it's portion of the lung transplant. Before I can be evaluated by the doctors in Cleveland, I have to pay between $2,000-$4,000 that the insurance will not pay. Once I have the transplant the funds will go for living expenses while I am in rehab in Cleveland.

You may also send money to P.O. Box 328693, Columbus, OH 43232.
