Help Mama Carrie fight her Cancers so that she can live to hold her first grandchild!

My name is Carrie, I am 54. In October 2010 I was diagnosed with stage IV lung cancer. It had already spread to my bones, adrenal gland, and lymph nodes. I realized my prayers had been answered, for in March 2009, my dear friend, Rhonda, of 43 years was diagnosed with the same cancer although hers had already spread to her liver and brain. Rhonda was 52, expecting her first grandchild, and I loved her so! I immediately started praying and asking God to please take the cancer from her and give it to me. Rhonda was an amazing person and I wanted her to live to see her grandchild born. As it turns out she was taken 10 months after her diagnosis, in January 2010. Just a few days before her beautiful grandson was born. Nine months later in October 2010, I was diagnosed with the same cancer I had prayed so hard for. Now I am expecting my first grandchild due on March 29, 2012. My cancer has spread to my liver, and is spreading rapidly through my bones. Without further treatment, I have been given until February, which means I will most likely not be here for the birth of my first grandchild either.

I am a strong willed person, and I have fought this disease with every ounce of my being but I am losing my battle. There is an alternative treatment available to me in Houston TX . I believe this treatment would not only help me be here for the birth of my grandchild but even allow me some quality of life with that child. I am a proud person and i have never asked anyone for anything. Im not asking now i am begging. If there is anyone out there who could help me with the cost i know that God will bless you. Please help me. This treatment is very costly and i am living on disability due to my illness. Anything anyone can do for me will be so very much appreciated. Thank you!!!
