The family and friends of Terry Helton are uniting to raise money to help with his battle against cancer. Please show your support!
After returning from a trip to Costa Rica in October 2007, Terry was diagnosed with Adenocarcinoma (lung cancer). After the first rounds of chemotherapy and radiation, along with concentration on eating healthy and herbal supplements, PT/CT scans came back good for the next three years. In 2010, it was discovered that the cancer had returned and successive treatments have been unsuccessful in stopping the progression. The cancer has now metastasized to the spine.
Realizing that conventional treatments may not show successful, Terry and his family have done extensive research on alternative treatments and have agreed that the best and most positive option is the Gerson Institute and Cancer Curing Society in Mexico... http://gerson.org/.
"The Gerson Institute is a non-profit organization... dedicated to providing education and training in the Gerson Therapy, an alternative, non-toxic treatment for cancer and other chronic degenerative diseases. The Gerson Therapy is a safe, natural treatment developed by Dr. Max Gerson in the 1920s. The therapy activates the body's extraordinary ability to heal itself through an organic, vegetarian diet, raw juices, coffee enemas and natural supplements. The Gerson Therapy treats the underlying causes of disease: toxicity and nutritional deficiency. "
Through this fundraiser, we are hoping to raise money to help with the cost of sending Terry to the Gerson Institute and to assist with the continued cost of the massive quantities of fresh produce needed for the vegetarian diet and raw juices Terry will need to consume each day. Any amount will help - no gift is too small! Terry and his family have a strong belief that through a natural approach, he will be cured of cancer and continue to lead a long, healthy life.
