The family and friends of Drake Dosch are coming together to raise money and awareness for Drake's medical conditions & costs.

Drake was born with a very peculiar deformity where he had an intact stomach. He had an intact colon. What he was missing was a small intestine,” said University Clinical Director of Pediatric Transplantation Dr. Srinath Chinnakotla.

Drake Dosch is the lucky recipient of a medical achievement that has only happened 19 times in Minnesota history on July 4th, 2011— the transplant of the small bowel, a critical part of our intestines. On April 10th, 2012 - Drake had developed a lyphpatic tumor in his skull along the left side of his mouth and in the back of his skull by the brainstem. This was a result of his ant-rejection medicine and the EBV virus, Post-transplant lymphoproliferative disorder (PTLD). We found it in Sanford with a CT scan on that Sunday. We arrived at the Amplatz Children's Hospital. Drake and Kelsie(his mom) were flown here and Jeremy(Drake's dad) followed in the car.

With rounds of Chemo since April, Drake(now just 3.5 years old) is on the upswing of hopefully beating cancer, continuing to accept his 'new' intestines, and lead to a childhood outside of the hospital. Let's raise this money to alleviate some medical expenses occurred and send Drake into a bright 4th year of his life on May 21st, 2013.
