Help support the Jared and Mindy Huff family while 2 year old Gavin is recovering in the hospital! Please show your support!

The son of Jared and Mindy (Melinda) Huff, 2 year old Gavin, contracted an infection known as Shigella, which is closely related to E.Coli and Salmonella. This infection caused him to develop HUS Syndrome, in which the damaged red blood cells start to clog the filtering system in the kidneys, which may eventually cause the life-threatening kidney failure associated with hemolytic uremic syndrome. He suffered renal failure on June 25th and was moved from Memorial Hospital in South Bend to Riley Children's hospital in Indianapolis, 3 hours away.

The good news is he is on dialysis to filter his kidneys until all the toxins are gone and is expected to recover 100%. However, this process takes a lot of time and the doctors aren't exactly sure how long he will need to be in the hospital; it could be two weeks or 3 months.

This Relief Fund is to help them out with the expenses of travel to and from the hospital, which is a couple of hours away from home, and the expenses of being away from home for a prolonged period of time.

As an example of their expenses, parking costs $12 a day!

In a week they spent $200 on food eating at the hospital.

My goal is to raise enough money to cover their food expenses and parking for the minimum two weeks that Gavin will be in the hosptial.

On behalf of Jared and Mindy, thank you so much for your support during this hard time!

$295 was raised in one week, let's see if we can do it again!
