Friends of Triza Schultz are raising funds for IV antibiotic treaments to help her walk again from chronic neuro-muscular Lyme disease.

Help us pay for IV intravenous antibiotic treatments to help Triza walk again - sending chronic Lyme disease into remission/cure where it belongs!

Insurance doesn't cover long-term IV antibiotic treatment for chronic Lyme disease. Triza needs up to 1 ½ years of IV intravenous antibiotic treatments. Currently, a month’s supply of various IV antibiotics and IV supplies averages $2000.00.

In the fall of 1998, Triza started showing early signs of auto-immune problems, tremor, and muscle weakness. By 2002, she was hospitalized with neurological and debilitating spinal pain, seizure, and fatigue.

She was in and out of hospital for three years, and by February 2005, no longer able to walk and bed bound, Triza was accurately diagnosed with chronic Lyme disease. She entered a nursing facility in Ferron, Utah for 3 years fighting for recovery in an institution when family was unable to care for her.

Triza's doctors have utilized treatments from combined holistic and western medicine. She is still home bound on her bed much of the day. Triza needs long term intravenous antibiotic treatment.

The expensive IV antibiotics have the best chance to get to her central nervous system because they are injected into the heart via a chest port catheter or arm picc line catheter that is then propelled into the hardest to hit places like the central nervous system/spine, where oral antibiotics have difficulty reaching. This form of treatment has been very successful, and for chronic neurological Lyme disease, sometimes the ONLY path for remission to cure.

May your days be filled with beauty, joy, and wellness! Thank you so much…
