Friends and family of Mackenzie Clement are uniting together to help her as she struggles with a brain disorder known as Chiari Malformation

Mackenzie is a spunky four-year-old little girl who is struggling with Chiari Malformation. We are raising money for her medical bills that are not covered by her health insurance. She is scheduled for an invasive brain surgery to remove a part of her skull and shrink her Cerebellar tonsils.

Chiari malformations are structural defects in the cerebellum, the part of the brain that controls balance. When the bony space at the lower rear of the skull is smaller than normal, the cerebellum and brainstem can be pushed downward. The resulting pressure on the cerebellum can block the flow of cerebrospinal fluid (the liquid that surrounds and protects the brain and spinal cord)

Some of the symptoms Mackenzie faces are, frequent headaches (3-4 times a week), trouble with balance and coordination, and often has vomiting episodes lasting up to two hours with lethargy brought on by migraines. This surgery is an attempt to relieve the pressure on her spinal chord and skull and allow her spinal fluid to flow properly and hopefully eliminate or reduce her symptoms.

Without this surgery, Mackenzie could be at risk for damage to her central nervous system and partial or full paralysis sometime in her future.

Please consider helping Mackenzie to receive this surgery. Any amount you give would be a blessing to Mackenzie and her family. If you prefer to donate via postal mail, please email

Please keep Mackenzie in your prayers!
