Victor, Michael, and Joseph, are raising money so that we can attend the 2010 Discover True Friendship Service Tour in Costa Rica from July 7th-19th. We need around $5000 to cover the trip, plane tickets, passports, etc. Thank You!

The International Relief Friendship Foundation (IRFF) is sponsoring the 2010 Discover True Friendship Service Tour in San Jose, Costa Rica from July 7th-19th. The purpose of the tour is to renovate the facilities of the nonprofit organization known as Fundación Luz Para Las Naciones, which services needy children and families outside of San Jose. This will include repairing the dining room and shelter, building tables and chairs, painting, etc. In addition, the tour provides an opportunity to learn about the challenges facing the people of Costa Rica, as citizens of a developing nation, by meeting with local nonprofit organizations, schools, and other community organizations. Along with that, we'll be interacting with community members and learning about Costa Rican culture, as well as taking trips to the rain forest, a coffee plantation, and a live volcano to see some of Costa Rica's most beautiful sites.

Victor, Michael, and Joseph (the Williams Brothers) have been helped by many many people in our lives and we relish the opportunity to participate in service work. We would love to attend this project and have the experience of helping people less fortunate than us while also experiencing the culture and natural life of a beautiful country. However, we don't have the money to do it,  so we're getting proactive and raising money to pay IRFF for shelter and other accommodations in Costa Rica, buy the plane tickets both ways, passport fees for all three of us, and a myriad of other costs related to going overseas. If you have any donations, no matter how small, that you would like to make, we would all be VERY grateful! And remember, all donations made are tax-deductible!
