Please help support Elisha and Nate during this troubled time.

Baby Vance Aldin Scott was born June 3rd, 2009 with Cornelia de Lange Syndrome (CDLS) it is a genetic disorder and causes a range of physical and cognitive medical challenges. On November 18th, 2011 Vance earned his angel wings. Wednesday, November 16th, 2011 he was released from Cincinnati Children's Hospital in hopes of spending Thanksgiving with his family. Elisha Gardner and Nathan are the parents of Vance; he has three sisters and one brother. Elisha and Nate spent a lot of time at Cincinnati Children's where Vance fought valiantly; because of his joyful spirit, determination, and love he overcame many obstacles.

Throughout the two years Vance spent with us Cincinnati Ronald McDonald House became a second home to his family. The family spent more time at the Ronald McDonald House than they did at home. Although, the time was well spent it put a financial burden on the family with travel costs, still trying to maintain things at home, and Nate unfortunately being laid off from his job.

Not only did this time constrain finances, but it was an emotional roller coaster for the entire family. Often times Elisha had to leave new born baby Traycen, and the others in Kentucky to travel to Cincinnati to fight for Vance's life.

On Wednesday he lost that fight. Due to Elisha, Nate and the family spending several months at the Cincinnati Ronald McDonald House and repeated visits to Cincinnati Children's. The family is seeking help in providing a special day to celebrate Vance's life and other expenses that are associated.

Elisha and Nate were able to learn a lot from Vance and his extraordinary journey and deserve nothing more than the opportunity to send him to heaven peacefully.
