Donate to Charlie Britz
The friends and family of Charlie Britz are coming together to support Charlie in his efforts to walk again after a car accident.
Charlie Britz, a really great member of the Westchester Community near Armonk, is in need of your support. After suffering severe injuries in a car accident coming home from work on the morning of June 12th, 2011, Charlie made it over the first hurdle and lived to see the world again. Now, he is getting ready for physical therapy and is in need of your help, as medical bills begin to pile up for the Britz family. Please support Charlie in his efforts to walk again.
Charlie was transferred from the Westchester Medical Center to the Helen Hayes Hospital in West Haverstraw for treatment. He is now home, ambulatory and has a walking boot. It is estimated that he will be undergoing physical therapy for the rest of the summer. The long rehabilitation of his injured foot will most likely begin this fall, hopefully at Burke.
Charlie's family continues to be so very grateful for everyone's concern and generosity. They thank all of you again for all the help, support, prayers and good thoughts. They're working.
Each day continues to be a step forward in Charlie's recovery, literally. His road will be long, but his burden has been lightened by all of you. You have made the difference and helped immeasurably as he fights to walk again.
