Jonathan, a loving husband and doting father of 4 was diagnosed with terminal cancer at the age of 35 in January 2014. Read, Share, Give.

Cancer will likely kill me. When it does, don't send flowers. Touch a life. Find someone, feed them, hug them, clothe them, save them.

On January 13, 2014 I became extremely ill and went to the hospital. Within hours I was told that I had multiple masses throughout my body and an oncologist would be taking a closer look. Within days I was given a diagnosis of Stage IV Metastatic Melanoma and a prognosis of 0-2 years to live depending on treatment effectiveness. This is my story and I know not when it will end. You can learn more about me at

We are attempting to raise funds to help cover the ongoing medical expenses that continue to grow with every visit and every exam and every dose of chemo. If you can help or spread the word, please do. Even if it's just the $5 you were planning to spend at Starbucks it can make the difference for us.

Once we have covered those medical expenses, we will begin working towards funding the "bucket list" items which are identified as priorities and considered to be Jonathan's final act of devotion to his wife and children.

As of 2014-03-17 07:20 AM CDT, 4787 cups of coffee have been donated to help fund the Priorities. Thank you to everyone who has given up their daily starter cup so that my family can be secure in the home that we have struggled so hard to acquire. Your actions will never be forgotten and can never be repaid enough. And yes, I cry every time a donation is made. It is impossible not to because I know what each donation means to my family and their future.
