The family and friends of Godric Karnatz are uniting to raise money to help Godric with his continued medical journey.

Godric was born on February 13th at 1:15pm. He weighed 7lbs 5 oz. when born. He began having breathing problems from birth and was admitted into the NICU at Methodist Stone Oak. On February 14th at 1pm he was transferred to Methodist Children's NICU struggling to breathe at all. His journey has begun. Godric had a chest tube inserted on Feb. 14th to eliminate trapped air. He also was placed on a respirator that same day. He also had umbilical lines inserted that day that can be used to supply all his daily needs. He began receiving surfactant for a surfactant deficiency. He has seen a pediatric cardiologist and continues to receive testing and monitoring by him. Since birth Godric has continued his journey with gastrointestinal doctors for extensive digestive issues, a pulmonologist to monitor wheezing and other respiratory concerns. He is also on prescription formula because he can not tolerate anything else. He receives feeding therapy and physical therapy. He has not been able to tolerate any food but the formula. His condition is still undiagnosed but he is going through a lot of tests in order to hopefully find answers. Through this entire journey he has remained a strong little boy with a bright beautiful smile. The family unfortunately has incurred thousands of dollars of medical bills to cover his continued fight. If you would like to speak to a family representative about his fight please email us at We thank you in advance for your financial help.
