The daughter and grand-daughters of Patricia Hale are trying to raise money to help her pay off her small mortagage and do repairs needed.

Please help my mom who is on Social Security Disablity keep her home. My dad passed away 3 years ago,and without his income, she can barely make ends meet. She can barely keep up with the monthly bills and keep food on the table for her and my oldest daughter, who lives with her to help take care of her. She can't drive due to her failing eyesight, so my daughter drives her everywhere she needs to go. She would never ask for help for herself. She owes almost 14,000.00 on her mortagage and it's due in full in 3 years, and she will NEVER have the lump sum to pay it in full and will lose her home. This is where my dad passed away, and she feels close to him in her home. I couldn't stand it if she loses her home and has to move into a low income highrise for the elderly and handicapped. Her home needs some major repairs, and updates and she cannot afford them. It needs a new roof among other repairs. I am in remission from kidney cancer, and it's considered terminal in most cases. I can't afford to help due to me being on SSI Disability due to my health problems. I would love to be able to pay off her mortagage, and pay for all the major repairs and make her home more accessible due to her going blind. I want to make this a surprise of a lifetime for my wonderful mother. She so deserves this. I've heard her cry so many times because she doesn't know how she is going to make it. She will never ask for help for herself, but she goes out of her way to help anyone who needs her, just not with money. She gives her love unconditionally, and has the biggest heart I've ever seen. I would like to make her last years here more comfortable for her, and save her home.I would need about 14,000.00 to pay off her mortagage for her, and about 10,000.00 more to do the repairs and make her home more accessible for her failing eyesight. I know times are tight right now for everyone in the country, but I have faith that with your help, we can do this. Any money left after repairs and paying off her home, will go to her to make ends meet for a few months so she won't have to struggle so much. I don't know of anyone more deserving than she is. If she knew I was doing this for her, she would get so upset with me, because she feels that there are more deserving people out there. She would never ask for help for herself. That is how selfless she is. My mom is my best friend, and I love her so much. I am an only child, and she has always been there for me, even if she has had to go without to help me. Now I can maybe help repay her in the best way I can, with YOUR help!
