Help Brad and Jennifer offset and assist with medical & daily living expenses to alleviate the financial burden.

Brad Szczyrbak, devoted husband and father, was critically injured at work in an accident involving a pressurized tank he was performing maintenance on. With severe injuries to his head, neck, chest, & hand, he will be a long-term patient at one of Pittsburgh's finest hospitals. Brads wife, Jennifer, is at home with his two youngest children, ages 3 years and 9 months, while his oldest is off at college. As you can imagine, this unexpected family crisis will take quite a toll on Jennifer and the rest of the family, emotionally and financially. Brad did not have any emergency insurance, like the one advertised by the duck, which would allow them to continue to receive a pay check to cover many crucial expenses - like their mortgage. Brad's doctors have said that it is extremely important for him to have his home there to come back to! We don't know what the total expenses will be - but we felt we had to get something started to alleviate the stress on Brad and Jennifer so that they can focus all of their energy and strength on getting through this fight! The money donated will be used to pay for medical expenses and to help with daily living expenses while Brad and Jennifer have to live off of what they had saved up. Please keep Brad and Jennifer in your prayers at this time! Brad and Jennifer need all your support and prayers to help them stay strong through this trial. Without Daddy, they are in great need for any support - whether it is thoughts, prayers, well wishes, or donations that you can send their way. If you have any questions, or suggestions or just need to contact a representative for the family please call Heather Russo (Jennifer's Sister) at 830-370-3998 or e-mail at If you want to send a donation by mail, please send checks to attention: Jennifer Szczyrbak 524 Oakland Hills Lane, Kerrville, TX 78028 All your generous contributions, thoughts and prayers are deeply appreciated!! Thank you all SO Much!! - Brad & Jennifer, the Szczyrbak Family, and Heather Russo
