The Clem family is looking for your support to help Casey in his second fight against two cancers All , AML . Here is his story:

Brave one, Casey

At the young age of 21, Casey Clem has been diagnosed with a stage 4 T-Cell Lymphoblastic Lymphoma, which is a cancerous and malignant tumor that formed in his chest on top of his Hart. After a month of treatment Casey was able to enter remission, but it was short lived. Now 22 and 10 months of remission Casey received bad news that his cancer was back and had mutated into ALL: Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia and AML: Acute Myeloid Leukemia. Just as Casey’s battle will be ongoing, so will the financial burden. Casey’s family is now looking to raise money to pay for the initial medical bills and to support his health regime as he enters a period of extensive treatments.

Casey was born in Lindsay, California on May 07, 1990. At the age 21 he moved to San Luis Obispo, California where he enjoyed the ocean and living near Slo’s main drag. Casey attended Monache High School where he was lucky to be a part of an exceptional technology academy that is still talked about to this day where he was a part of a Cisco certified course, and his team won many challenges offered by the academy. He has always been a studious, yet well rounded student that received an award for animation using the program Maya.

He was going to Cuesta College in San Luis Obispo, California where he was hoping to earn three Associates and three Certificates as well as Microsoft Certifications in Network Maintenance and Administration. But he had to leave school prior to finishing for treatment. He worked hard in school receiving great grades and also working part-time as a Customer Sales Associate for Sears Automotive. He has always had a strong work ethic, picking up any shifts he could, and staying late if needed until all customers were helped, also organizing the shipments and in-store department room.

Casey hopes to open his own small networking company after he gets his degrees and certifications. These plans were put on hold in early November when Casey was having chest pains and breathing problems.

Casey’s name means “vigilant in war” and “brave one” and that is what fighting Cancer is a War in which you have to be brave in. His focus has always been long term, building for his future. He never wanted a quick fix or short-term gain. He is laid back in nature but enjoys challenges. Casey is a self-made man, always willing to work hard and help others. He is kind and thoughtful and when he is your friend, he is for life. He is loved by so many friends and family and the community of his home town Porterville, he still has a very bright future ahead.

Anyways, enough of that, This is Casey and as you have read I had to stop working and quit school twice for treatment (once in November and now in September for my cancer relapse and the new cancer I am fighting AML) but I want to add my two cents, I consider myself to be extremely lucky and fortunate. I have met so many great people in the medical field and other cancer patients and survivors. I would like to give special thanks to my friends and family who are my base and pillars of hope and strength through this. Thank you to everyone for all the well wishes, thoughts and prayers, I cannot wait to hang out again soon and have some fun.I am curently at Stanford University reciving my medical treatment and will be here for some time until I can re-enter remission. While here I will uplaod a daily video explaning my daily life and what I am experianceing in hopes it will help cancer patents and the family and friends of cancer paitents.Take care! – Casey “Big Fish” Clem
