I rescued Lola, mini pincher, a month ago from the anti-cruelty society and last Friday, 3-5-10, she got hit by a car. She needed surgery to save her leg. The cost is at $4000 and climbing. Can you help me raise funds to pay for the vet bill?

Lola the mini pincher has had a tough life.  She and her owner got kicked out into the streets due to an pending divorce situation.  Lola ended up in the anti-cruelty society until her present owner, Olivia, could find a place of her own.  Well, they found me.  I adopted Lola and took her and Olivia into my home.  They now live with me.

A week ago, Lola got hit by a car and fractured her leg in two places as well as twisting backwards.  She lost two toes and need surgery to save her leg.  Her leg is being held together with pins and wires and has a splint on.  She requires constant after care of changing her bandages every two days which requires that she get sedated for this process.  The vet bill is enormous ($4000) and it is still climbing.

As some of you know I have been on disability for the last 10 years and I have a son to care for.  I do not have the funds to pay for the vet bills. One thing about me that you should know is that I have always been able to overcome obstacles that have come my way.  however, Lola's accident has proven to be a financial mountain I can't climb.  I can pledge with everything that I have that I can come up with $1000.  That is over and beyond what I can afford right now but I know that If I cut around the corners I can do the $1000.

I am asking for help to save lola's leg.  She is currently being treated at the VCA Berwyn Animal Hospital.  If you would like to get details about her condition and treatment you can call Melissa Stinson at 708-749-4200.

Thank you and God bless you for your donation.
