Please join Cindy Cline's family to raise money to assist in medical and daily living expenses as she waits for a double lung transplant.

Cindy Cline was diagnosed with an extremely rare lung disease affecting 1 in 100,000-1,000,000 people, Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PAH). There is no known cure for pulmonary hypertension. Due to one of the effects of PAH, Cindy must be on oxygen 24 hours a day to breathe. Her diminishing lung function affects her ability to perform activities of daily living that we take for granted. Cindy, at times, requires assistance to brush her teeth, go to the restroom, walk short distances and even eating.

Cindy has had to move from her home, family and friends in Hawaii, to San Diego. She must be near to the University of California Medical Center (UCSD) as she waits for a double lung transplant. Cindy's son, Franklin and his girlfriend Amy, has moved with her to provide support. Cindy's condition however, has deteriorated to the point where he is unable to work, and still provide her with the needed care. He is now her primary caregiver.

Cindy's monthly expenses include medical premiums, Hospital bills from Maui Memorial Medical Center, and UCSD Medical Center, medication co-pays, oxygen, and rent. According to Franklin, "because of moms diminishing health, dizzy spells, I have taken on a bit more responsibility than expected, and now cannot work as she is not safe by herself. We are currently living what i would call a near financial nightmare."

Please join us, and help Cindy Cline. This woman who has spent much of her adult life helping those who are disadvantaged, and abused, now needs your help. Being so far from home, without the support of those who know and love her, is a hardship on Cindy, her son Franklin and girlfriend Amy. Any amount you can donate is so very appreciated. A heartfelt " THANK YOU" to you all.
