I have been chosen to be a part of a mission team going to Zimbabwe to work with people suffering with AIDS. Please support my endeavor!

I have been chosen to be a team member through United Methodist Volunteers in Mission to travel to Zimbabwe to work with Project Tariro.

Project Tariro serves people who are living with AIDS. Tariro means “hope” in the Shona language. Until recently the diagnosis of AIDS was a death sentence, but this project of United Methodist Deacons is offering hope to these folks through delivery of medical supplies, nutritious foods, counseling, and transportation. The addition of the garden and the means to irrigate it will enable them to fulfill a large part of their mission. Proposed work is demarcation and fencing of the
garden for Project Tariro clients, Bible lessons and spiritual counseling, and plumbing to assist with connecting a new well.

I feel called by God to go and help the people of Zimbabwe and Project Tariro. I need help raising the money to get to Zimbabwe. I am a wife and mother of 2 boys and we are very blessed, but we simply cannot afford an international trip right now. I plan on serving meals at our church to raise money and also hope that I can get the help of my friends and family to assist me in reaching my goals.

Thank you for supporting me! The people of Zimbabwe will also thank you!
