The family and friends of Debra Prado are uniting to raise money to help with medical bills accrued due to a recent brain aneurysm.

Welcome to Team Prado!

As many of you know Debra Prado suffered a brain aneurysm on March 16, 2011, a day before her birthday. She arrived by ambulance to Kaweah Delta ER, then transferred by ambulance to Fresno URMC where she was admitted to ICU. On March 17, 2011 (her birthday) she was airlifted to UCSF Medical Center, admitted into NICU and had surgery on March 18, 2011. She was in NICU for 15 days, and on March 31, 2011 she was evicted (Santos likes to say) from NICU to a transition room for 1 day. Deb was released from UCSF on April 1, 2011, she spent 18 days total in these three hospitals. Deb surprised her family and friends when she arrived home on April 2, 2011, Oh Happy Day!!!!!

Deb is a wonderful wife to Santos and an amazing mother to three beautiful children, Brook (17), Bryson (15), and Breanna (9). Santos is a loving husband and father who provides and protects his family. And above all he loves God with all his heart. Brook is a beautiful and stylish young lady who enjoys cheerleading at CVCHS. Bryson was born with down’s syndrome and is such a handsome young man. He is a blessing to his family, he's a “Wild Boy” as they say and keeps everyone hopping. Breanna is as sweet as they come, also having great beauty, and she can talk your ear off in seconds. Deb’s family is her world, she is a hard working stay-at-home mom and keeps her family on the go. Deb likes organization and cleanliness while caring for her children and Santos. She organizes and cleans like a pro. Deb rarely relaxes or finds time for herself, but she always makes time for others. She is a friend to everyone, and always has a positive outlook on life. She loves God with all her heart as well and attributes her healing to her Savior.

Deb and Santos both have “BIG” giving hearts and when they see a need they jump right in and do what they can to meet that need. They have and continue to help and bless so many people, we felt we had to get something started to bless them. We would like to alleviate any stress so that they can focus all of their energy and strength on winning this battle! As you can imagine, this unexpected family crisis has taken quite a toll on them, emotionally and financially. These mounting medical bills are a worry we would like to take away from them. We don't know what the total expenses will be, however we do feel that it will be greater than our goal here. The money donated will be used to help pay for medical expenses for all three hospital‘s, the ambulance rides, and airlifting to San Francisco.

Please keep Deb, Santos and the children in your prayers at this time! They need all your support and prayers to help them stay strong through this trial. Deb is getting stronger everyday but covets your prayers!
