Dee's friends are pulling together to lighten her load so she can focus on battling colon cancer.Your prayers & donations will help her win.

Dee’s Fight
Dee Bozarth is naturally a feisty little lady. She has been fighting colon cancer (and we do mean fighting) since Good Friday of 2010- almost a full year now. Through the struggle, Dee, a single mom, has managed to work intermittently, although many times, we all wondered how she managed to pull it off with her signature style & grace.
Dee somehow manages to shore up her courage and just keep trucking through it all, and despite setbacks and side effects of the treatment, always find enough strength to come back to the fight. Her first round of Chemotherapy was just about done when they found the cancer had spread to the lymph nodes. Dee’s resolve never even flagged, she just gathered more strength- from God knows where- and fought even harder. Just approaching the halfway point of her latest chemo round, the other day, Dee was presented with some very discouraging news: tests revealed that the cancer had spread to her liver. Dee was hoping to be able to return to the office fairly soon, but the newly prescribed treatment will likely distinguish that hope- at least for a good while yet.
Not being able to return to work will probably mean she will have to go on unpaid leave, and lose her health insurance. This will be catastrophic, emotionally, financially and medically. We all know that helpless feeling we experience when someone we care deeply about is facing more than anyone should have to bare. We need to help in any way we can. We 3 friends are trying to come up with ideas that will allow us and all who care to, to actually make a difference.
For this reason, we are asking everyone to dig deep and join our efforts to lighten the load for Dee and her family. Her mom and dad have unselfishly given their time, strength and love to see their daughter through this terrible disease. At just the time that a break should present itself and allow the family some room to breathe, worse news has come along. Your prayers, good wishes and donations would go a long way to bolstering this family. Please donate whatever you can, whenever you can and post messages for Dee so she can feel the positive strength of those who care.
