We are asking for your help and reaching out to all of our family, our friends, and those who knew and loved my dad, Rick Yelle.

For those of you who don't know me I am Jazzy (Jasmine Yelle) daughter of Rick Yelle, my dad. Father of three girls, an incredible and talented musician that was loved and respected by so many.

My dad passed away suddenly last night. Leaving my family completely unprepared for the intensity of what we are enduring as we face many unforseen challenges emotionally and financially as we begin the healing process. My dad did not have a savings account or life insurance, and carried debt that is now in our hands.

The last thing we would ever want to focus on right now is money. I want the focus to be on my dad and his memory. There are so many unforseen costs that I never imagined a family takes on when a loved one dies. I really would like to put together a beautiful ceremony in memory of my dad. We are in need of even the basic cost to pay for the funeral and the burial, so that he can be burried next to my grandfather. The debt left to the family, the cost to transition- things I can't focus on right now :(

We need your help and we are reaching out to all of our family, our friends, the community and those who knew and loved my dad, those of you who knew him as Rick, or Ricky.

Please, please we need your help!
I will start by donating what I have to give, $200.00. Any and all donations are appreciated so much.

Some words left behind about who my dad was:

"One of own, the master of the keys, Mr. Rick Yelle passed away last night. Rick gave us not only the coolest keyboard chops around, but always the broadest grin we've ever seen. To forget Rick will be impossible. Rest in peace, and play us a tune Mr. Piano Man."- Joe Harding

"It was a great pleasure to share the stage with one of the nicest people I have ever met... You will be missed."

"To Rick Yelle, a great muscian, a funny guy, and a dear friend. Your music will forever live on. RIP buddy." Tim White

"RIP Rick Yelle, you were a a great friend, a standup guy, and an amazing musician. I'll never forget our incredible conversations, your constant support, and all the times we rocked out together!" Matt Ganotis

"Rick was a great friend and valued musical collaborator. I loved singing with him, and vice versa. Every time we got together it was great fun! The last time he texted me (on March 10!) he was ecstatically happy--very busy doing what he loved with those he loved. What a way to go--too much happiness, perhaps. Heaven needed a great baritone and now they've got one. Sing on, Rick. RIP." Cathie Clark

"My friend...still can see you smilin' and absolutely WAILIN' on that keyboard! RIP Rick. We lost another great one. To Rick's family...I am SO sorry for your loss. I wish you peace in this very sad time...but...remember the man and his passion and be greatful for the time you had with him. I know I will." Thom Scagliotti

"Rest in peace Piano Man. I will always miss your 'angry' chords." Tim Cook
