Family & friends of Linda Kitts are uniting to raise money to help support her as she recovers from stage 3c to stage 4 ovarian cancer.

Our Mother and Aunt, Linda Kitts, is in need of your support to offset significant financial losses while she fights the most important battle of her life.

Linda is 57 years old and was diagnosed with Stage 3c to Stage 4 Ovarian Cancer two weeks ago (they are unable to diagnose the stage fully without the pathology reports, which are on their way). She recently underwent surgery Monday, Feb 27th, for a full hysterectomy and to remove as many of the tumors as possible. Unfortunately, the surgeons had to leave many tumors inside her since the cancer has invaded her lymph nodes and other critical areas. She is in the hospital recovering and will soon begin chemotherapy to attack the remaining tumors.

Linda is a single mom of three grown children and a new (proud!) grandma. She has sacrificed for other people all her life and deserves the best chance she can get for recovery. However, she relies solely on her income to stay afloat. While she fights for her life, she will be out of work and without income for months. This will leave her struggling to keep her home and pay for food, travel expenses to get to and from chemotherapy treatments, and all around living expenses for this time until she is able to return to work. Any assistance would truly help her focus her energies on her health and hopeful recovery during this process, instead of the worry of where her next meal may be coming from.

We've created this site as a vehicle for our friends, family, and loved ones to help us help our Mom and Aunt during this difficult time. All of the money donated will be used to help fund Linda in covering her mortgage, utility bills, food, travel and living expenses, as well as co-pays and medical expenses above and beyond what is covered by insurance.

Will you help us demonstrate the kindness and generosity inherent in our community at large? Your donation, of any amount, will be greatly appreciated by Linda and our family and will go a long way to show her that people care about her and her recovery. Please know that no amount is too small. Every dollar counts and is desperately needed.

Of course, prayers are deeply coveted as well!

Thank you so much for your generosity, and we will keep you posted on the progress of Linda's recovery here on this page.

Sincerely,
Rachel Bashore, Rebecca Rossi, and Alex Rossi (devoted children), Sarah Bashore (grandbaby who deserves more time with her grandma!), and Marni Arnold (devoted niece)
