The family and friends of Jill Conn are requesting financial help to fight her cancer.

Jill was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer on November 28, 2011. After extensive testing the cancer was found to have invaded her left arm, spread throughout the spine, and lypmh nodes located in her arm, around her heart and right lung as well.

Due to the cancers erosion of the bone she sustained a fracture requiring surgery to place a pin in her left arm for stability. A special port was also surgically placed for planned chemotherapy, but due to the cancers stage, the chemotherapy is postponed while hormone therapy is administered.

Jill has been proactive in fighting her disease. In her research she found that current chemotherapy is planned based on statistics of how others responded to the drugs. But there is new technology that allows the individuals cancer to be tested to determine which of these agents, and nutritional therapies, it is sensitive to. This allows for a more tailored and effective treatment plan. These tests and doctor consults in are not currently covered by insurance companies. Jill's cancer could be managed for many, many years, and possibly cured.

Jill is not able to work because of the cancer in her bones. Her husband Kevin was laid off in an industry hit hard by the recession. The financial ends are not meeting and they need help with the mounting medical bills and the chemo sensitivity tests.

We thank you for your consideration and you desire to help others in difficult times.
