The family and friends of Walter Jones are uniting to raise money to help him gain his sight back. Please show your support!

Hi, my name is Walter. I'm 35. My right eye has a very serious cataract that needs removal. I don't have insurance and cannot afford the procedure. I'm humbly asking for help to get my little old eyeball fixed and be able for the first time in at least four years to see out of my right eye. It would greatly improve my life and not to mention mine and my wife's happiness of the thought of me seeing again. I also enjoy a ton of things that require the use of my eye.

Here's a small story of me. I was born premature by three months. I had a twin sister but she didn't live but a week. I weighed two pounds, five ounces. My father said that his father could hold me in the palm of my hand. I was incubated for the first five months of my life and was released to my parents, caught pneumonia, and then spent another month back in the hospital. Also, at the age of two I had a lazy eye corrective surgery done on my right eye. My eyes have never been great by any means, but now it is very hard to enjoy things like reading, walking, playing guitar, playing video games (like Rock Band), and a new found skill, photography.

If you would like to talk to me personally about my eye condition or what the procedure is, my phone number (425)-877-3303

If you would like to send a check or cash, please make it payable to:

Walter Jones
615 Park Ave.
Bremerton, Wa.

If you don't want to pay with cash or checks and use PayPal, please email me at:

All funds received will go into a bank savings account that I will open up when I receive the first cash or check coming in. I will then save up to the $3,500.00. Then I will make the appointment for the eye appointment before surgery, the surgery itself, and the resulting new pair of glasses that I will need. If there is any money left over I will put it back into the savings account for my eventual left eye cataract surgery that I will need.

Thank you for you time. Thank you so much for reading about my life and my request. Any and all donations would be a huge help and are greatly appreciated by us. Please only give what you can, we really appreciate it. Thank you!
