The family and friends of David Rivero are raising money for the medical testing and medical costs that the insurance does not want to pay.

David E Rivero was born on January 1, 2012 it was the happiest day of our lives. David weight 7lbs 10 ounces and 21inches long he was born with gastroshisis. he was transferred to the NICU at Miami children's hospital where he underwent surgery, to place a bag over the part of his intestine that where formed outside his stomach wall. each day they pushed in his intestine little by little. After four days of pain David last surgery was done the bag was removed. He was in the NICU for a month after being discharged we brought him home. After being home for a 2 month he wasn't able to hold down food he well get extended and begin to throw up green bile and get really dehydrated.
He was rushed to the hospital where he was diagnosed with acid reflux after two months of throwing up and losing almost 7 lbs and taking all different types of medications the problem did not get better and was started to worsen.

We then went and got a second opinion we found out he did not have acid reflux and instead had slow bile movement where not sure of the cause of the vomiting and not being able to hold down his food .we where finally told they are testing that can be done for David witch are done only in five places in the united states and unfortunately are not done in our state of Florida. David has been on TPN and lipids for almost all his infant life and is slowly affecting his liver we are trying to raise money for the transfer, testing and procedures at Boston children's witch our insurance does not want to cover. please show your support and help David and his family raise the money for his cause.

David loves all his family and friends and would love to hear from you, send your letters and wishes to superlildave@gmail.com. and also littledave112@gmail.com
