Please help Monica Schneider raise money towards her upcoming Bone Marrow Transplant - She wants to live, laugh, and play with her grandson!

My mom is such an amazing woman. In my eyes she is super woman. She has worked full time her whole life, raised 3 kids, attended every sporting event and school function. Loves to camp, fish, root for the Green Bay Packers, and spend time with her grandson. She has always been there for me, and would do anything for her family and friends. Now she needs me, and all of your help more then ever!

In September my son turned one and Monica was so excited and helped plan his birthday party. It was a Super Man theme and she made individual capes for all the kids. After the party I remember I wrote her an email just thanking her for everything and I told her how much I love her and I don't know what I would do without her. The thought of not having her around broke my heart. Just one month before that we lost my mother-in-law to Liver Cancer after a very fast 2 month battle and it was all to real still. From that I learned you need to express how you feel and don't wait to tell someone you love them. I never could have imagined that just a few weeks after the birthday party my own mom would get sick.

In October 2011 she started to get these crazy migraine headaches that lasted 3-4 days at a time. She was in and out of the ER and her primary doctors office. I remember telling my co-workers "something isn't right - I have a bad feeling." Finally in December after multiple blood test, MRI's, Ultrasounds, CT's something abnormal showed up. Some of her kidney counts were not right. In December 2011 she was sent to a kidney specialist. That Dr then did a kidney biopsy that came back abnormal but she still wasn't 100% sure what was wrong. Her Kidney was having failure but the results showed the problem was in her blood. She then sent her to a hematologist-oncologist specialist. 2012 started off first thing with a bone marrow biopsy. Those results came back positive for Cancer. STAGE 3 Multiple Myeloma - INCURABLE.

Less then a week later, we were back at the hospital and Monica was starting Chemo therapy. Even though her cancer is incurable, it is manageable. By doing Chemo it helps kill off some of the cancer cells and makes the count less. Since it is in her blood and bone marrow it is throughout her body and can effect every organ and bone. We were lucky and caught it early enough that is only had started to cause damage to her kidney. This type of cancer is really hard to detect and find. From the beginning Monica has been so brave and strong through all of this. Never wanting to show anybody how scared she is or how sick she really feels. Unfortunately if there was a side effect you could get from the chemo, she go it, every single one of them. The last six months have been the hardest thing ever, not just for her, but for her family and friends. She has lost over 40 lbs, been so sick that she cant get out of bed or even walk outside to enjoy the sun shine. Things are starting to get better, we keep hearing that the Chemo is working.

The next step for Monica will be a Bone Marrow Transplant. Without this procedure she might only live a few years. This procedure can hopefully give her 7-10 years or hopefully even longer. The procedure is very risky and the next 6 months are going to be even harder then the past 6 months.

Monica has been out on disability and that only covers a portion of your wages. As you can imagine the medical bills from all the facilities and procedures keep adding up and will continue to add up. A bone marrow transplant cost upwards of $200,000 and insurance only covers a portion of it. Besides the fees from the procedure she is going to have to relocate to Stanford Hospital for a few months and live close by, so when the nasty side effects happen she is close to the hospital.

If you could please donate $5, $10, $20, or more it all adds up and will help more then you will ever know. It is so hard to ask for help, but she needs it more then ever. We will be forever humbly grateful to you. If you cant donate please send her a positive message of encouragement and we ask that you all please forward this site on to your friends, family, coworkers, and customers. By giving forward you are helping.

Without this procedure she wont live, laugh, watch the Packers play football, and mostly watch her grandson grow up.

Thank you so much for your time, PLEASE DONATE on here or if you feel more comfortable you can send cash or check directly to:
