Rons brother David is asking for donations in lieu of flowers to help with the funeral expenses.

Ron Pinkard 61 of Austin,Tx passed away on Feb.19th at 2:45am in Ft. Worth,Tx.
Ron was born in Fort Worth TX in the 1950s to Jerry and Eugenia Pinkard where he grew up. He then graduated from Paschal HS in 1968. After graduating in top of his class, He then traveled Europe for a year, before attending UT for 4+years. After college, Ron settled in Austin, making it his home for 40+ years. He lived his life to the fullest and had one great love which was golf,he was an avid golfer, and loved anything golf related. He worked at Morris-Williams Muncipal golf course for the last years of his life. He was a great friend to many people there and had many life-long friendships from through out the years. Ron loved to laugh and loved people. He always left an ever lasting mark on everyone he would meet. Ron also was an avid reader and had a love of classical music.
Ron was hospitalized in Austin on Dec.23rd & underwent a quad by-pass surgery on Dec.28th, and had many compications, he was in a medically induced coma for a month, and had 2 weeks of rehabilatation. He did very well & was released Feb 8th. He then went with his brother David, to Ft. Worth, Tx to stay with him until he recovered & could take better care of himself. He died very sudden & unexpectedly from a massive heart attack after being rushed to a hospital by ambulance early Sunday morning. We are deeply sadden by this lost, and he will be greatly missed. We would like to thank Ron's co workers at Morris-Williams golf course and all of his friends that were by his bed side day in and day out. We appreciate you visting Ron's memorial page and thank you in advance for your donation and know that Ron's smile will always be with us. After funeral expenses we will donate remanding funds to the no kill shelter in Austin where his 7 cats will have to be placed.
